In Eureka, culture thrives where the redwoods meet the sea—and nowhere is that spirit more alive than at Cannifest. Returning to the waterfront this August 30–31, 2025, Cannifest marks a milestone 10 years of bringing together music lovers, families, and cannabis enthusiasts from across the world. This year’s edition promises an unforgettable mix of world-class performances, interactive art, and a true taste of Humboldt County’s cannabis legacy.

Cannifest 2025 on the Waterfront

Cannifest has become the North Coast’s signature cannabis and community festival, and its 10-year anniversary is pulling out all the stops. Expect a lineup “stacked with hip-hop, funk, and reggae vibes from national and international touring artists,” including LaRussell, PawPaw Rod, and headliners The String Cheese Incident, known for crowd favorites like “Joyful Sound” and “Sometimes a River.” Joining them are Moonalice and Humboldt native Bella Rayne, setting the stage for a weekend of high-energy performances.

But Cannifest is more than music—it’s a full cultural experience. The event features:

  • Three live stages with diverse acts.
  • A 21+ lounge and cannabis-focused vendors.
  • The Family Interactive Zone (FIZ) with activities for all ages.
  • NorCal’s biggest live art wall, interactive workshops, and games.
  • The colorful “Yes We Cann” parade, bringing drums, dancing, and community spirit to Old Town.

A Festival with Deep Roots

What makes Cannifest stand out is the way it blends entertainment with Humboldt’s agricultural heritage. The festival doubles as a gathering place for cannabis farmers, makers, and advocates to share their craft, celebrate the culture, and highlight the plant’s role in the region’s economy and identity. Alongside live performances and art, you’ll find opportunities to connect with growers, learn about Humboldt’s cannabis history, and explore innovative products that reflect decades of expertise.

Tickets, vendor info, and volunteer opportunities are at cannifest.com.
