Taste of Main Street

The 27th Annual Taste of Main Street will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 5-8p.m. throughout Downtown and Old Town, Eureka.

Taste of Main Street is a fundraiser for Eureka Main Street. Ticket sales from Taste of Main Street help Eureka Main Street fund other fun events in Downtown & Old Town Eureka such as the Arts Alive, Summer Concert Series, The 4th of July Festival, and Holiday festivities. Support Eureka Main Street and enjoy tasty morsels, laugh with friends and visit the wide variety of businesses participating in this event.

Taste of Main Street offers a chance to sample food from 22 local participating restaurants and food producers, including: Sixth and E Eatery, Humboldt Cider Company, Delish on 5th, College Ball Cake Balls & Treats, Old Growth Cellars, Cypress Grove Chevre, Lost Coast Brewery, A Taste of Bim, Humboldt Bay Coffee, Oberon Grill, Kenny’s Chocolates, Old Town Coffee & Chocolates, The Grind Café, Shamus T Bones, Kyoto Japanese Restaurant, The Madrone Brick Fire Pizza & Taphouse, Ramone's Bakery & Cafe, Los Bagels, Chapala Cafe, Gallagher's Irish Pub, Jack’s Seafood and Vista Del Mar.

Tickets for Taste of Main Street are $25 per ticket book. Tickets are limited. Buy your tickets today at select Ramone's Bakery locations (209 E Street, Eureka; 223 Harrison Ave, Eureka & inside Wildberries Marketplace in Arcata), North Coast Co-Op (25 4th Street, Eureka), Eureka Visitor Center (240 E Street), Eureka Main Street (525 Second Street, Ste. 105 - Vance Hotel) or Moore’s Sleepworld (1201 Main Street, Fortuna). Tickets are also available for purchase online at northcoasttickets.com .

Live music will be featured at many venues during Taste of Main Street. Free shuttle service is provided to outlying locations.

Following Taste of Main Street is The Kick Off Dance at the Adorni Center. This event kicks-off the 29th annual Redwood Coast Music Festival, May 9 – May 12. The Kick Off Dance is from 7:30-10p.m. and features the music of The Hot Baked Goods w/Clint Baker. Lady Washington the official tall ship of Washington State and her companion vessel the Hawaiian Chieftain, will visit the Bonnie Gool Dock in Eureka, CA and offer exciting family oriented sails and vessel tours at the dock. Vessel tours open the ships to the public for a suggested donation of $5 per person. Come check out the ship and meet her crew!

Tea at The Carson Mansion!

Bring your hat and gloves and join us for our yearly Tea Party benefit at the Ingomar Club at the Carson Mansion! Tickets can by purchased by Clarke Museum members in advance of the event either at the museum or through our website, clarkemuseum.org. Ticket purchasers must be museum members.

Tickets:
$50 for tea and program on Victorian clothing, featuring a display of Sara Carson's dresses, which are rarely on public display, and dresses from the Hettie May Wilson collection at the Clarke Museum.
$60 for tea, program, and a tour of the Carson Mansion
Get your tickets early! Sales end on December 6!
Music at the event will be played by Julie Sheppard, local harpist.

Harvey Harper Car Museum Tour

This tour and open house at the Harvey Harper Car Museum is presented in association with Cruz'n Eureka - A rare opportunity to view a local vintage car collection!

Tickets will be available Saturday, September 8 during the Cruz'n Eureka event at the Humboldt County Historical Society (HCHS) booth on 2nd Street. Tickets will also be available at the door. 

$30 per couple or $15 single tickets include a glass of wine or beer and assorted finger foods. Additional wine and beer will be available for purchase throughout the event. Door prizes will be awarded!

This tour and open house event is organized as a fundraiser for the HCHS research center and archive. All proceeds will support the Humboldt County Historical Society.
